PARENT TRUGS

Trugs has been successful in so many schools and countries we have decided to make it even easier to purchase.

PARENT TRUGS is a phonics reading resource that works by playing decodable card games. In exactly the same way as trugs.

Nothing’s changed – you still play the three cards games; Guess it/Match it/Take it, it’s still has the same element of fun & competitiveness.

So what is different with PARENT TRUGS?

The BIG difference is that we have split the box into individual stages, AND at a very affordable £5.99 (inc VAT) per trugs stage.

Why have we done this?

To make it more accessible for YOU. Instead you can simply choose which stage your child is on (see below). It’s cheaper than many standard reading books, it’s interactive and therefore can involve the whole family and not only that but your child will be learning to read.

Added to which your children will want to play the games again and again!

Look at the reading ages and decide which Stage is appropriate for your child

CONSIDER the suggested reading ages:

  • Stages 1-5 Reading age 5-7 ½ years

  • Stages 6-10 Reading age 7 ½-9 years

  • Stages 11-15 Reading age 9-14 years

“It is best to start a little lower than their reading ages to build confidence.”
